Scheduler Notes

Thank you for contacting Coastal Plain Area EOA Cooling Assistance. We will reopen May 1st at 6:00AM to book LIHEAP Cooling appointments for the general population. Please check back at that time.

Coastal Plain Area EOA, Inc. is currently accepting appointments for the LIHEAP utility bill payment assistance using this online scheduler.

Appointments are now in person and are set to be about 30 minutes. If time permits, one of our Energy Assistance staff will give you a call to remind you of your scheduled appointment. **All required documents must be brought in at your appointment time. If you do not have all required documents during your appointment, you may be asked to leave and return with all require documents within 10 days or your appointment will be cancelled.

List of Docs needed

 Failure to submit all required documentation will delay your assistance.  We require all the following documents:

  • Social Security Cards for all household members
  • Current Utility Statement/Bill for gas and electric (within 30 days)
  • Driver's License or State issued picture Identification card (must be current)
  • Proof of income for all household members (i.e., wages, Social Security benefits, pensions, unemployment benefits, child support, etc.)

Please note after reviewing your documents we may request additional information to complete your application.

Within minutes of making your appointment, you should receive a confirmation email with a calendar appointment attached to the email. In addition, you will also receive a text reminder the day before your appointment.

Appointments can be changed or canceled at any time on this website. Please note, if you cancel your appointment there may not be another available appointment.
